reside, and where all of their equipment

maiming, loss of limbs or disappearances
of small children.

a giant stuffed animal or even a goldfish.

here at midnight masquerade the
fortune tellers are scarily accurate,
but still, don't be alarmed if they
predict your sudden demise. i'm
sure you'll still have time to watch
the show.

the old favourite of the funfair. from
the top you can see the entire circus,
a mildly thrilling yet romantic ride.

| -- the race tracks
a perfectly safe way to crash your car
into anothers. bumper karts can be
found here during the evenings and
night but during the day there's a
chance to compete, or simply bet
upon various horse and donkey races.

| -- the carousel
a constant shower of calliope music
emits from this nostalgic ring of iron-
crafted steeds. It possesses a kind
of intricate detail that draws many a
spectator forward for a ride.

this is where everything used in the
show is kept, at time you may even
find a discarded doll or puppet left
within here, their respective owners
having simply forgotton about them
for the meantime.

most of the outfits are stored within
this trailer for all circus workers, the
place is never empty.

the puppeteers and the staff each
own their own trailer filled to the
brim with their belongings, their
personal puppets and dolls 'packed'
away with the rest of their stuff.

where the tamed beasts of the circus
are returned to when the show is finally
over. i wouldn't advise sticking your hands
between the bars.

in this trailer, dining facilities can
be found for the entire staff of the m
asquerade.

| -- the black woods
this stretch of woodland is located
some few metres away from the
central circus area, and is seemingly
forever shrouded in darkness. in a
previous age, this forest was thought
to be a place where witchcraft and
black magic took place. although it
would appear to be a good escape
route for those seeking a way out
from the masquerade, it is actually
so dense and crowded , that it serves
as an exceptional barrier.

this open area is where the traveling
band of gypsies has set up camp.
although rather small, it has been
quickly occupied by several makeshift
tents, battered belongings, and
scattered piles of firewood.

this cheap motel is a single story
structure crowded with dozens of
tiny rooms and chipped and peeling
walls. it isn't exactly the most respected
of places, and is usually populated by
guests to the circus, although, at times,
performers can be found here as well ..

a rather run-down diner set slightly
back from the circus. it is run by a
rather tempramental woman. the
food is decent.

this is a nearby park. it is small and
contains a rather ramshackle play-park,
but it is a getaway for some ..

| -- sunset beach
this beach, located about a mile f
rom the masquerade itself is a p
rivate expanse of sand and ocea
n and is kept open all season long.
